Thiagarajar college engineering(TCE) is a govt aided institution and affailiated to Anna university and situated in Madurai.
The college is accredited with A grade by NAAC and has been ranked 18th NIRF 2023 rankings among tops colleges india.
The selection process is based on the candidates performance in the highest secondary examination (Mathematics,physics,and chemistry).The latest cut off information ,i recommend checking the official college website thiagarajar college of engineering or contacting their administrative office directly,they provide up to date information on cut off and admission requirements.

Kristu Jayanti College offers MSc in Data Science that lasts for two-years. The MSc course fee ranges as per the specialisations candidates wants to apply in. The course fee for MSc in Data Science is around INR 1.20 lakh in first year and INR 1.25 Lacs in second year. Students need to pay the course fee to confirm their admission to the college. Candidates must also pay other fee components once during the admission process, such as application fee of INR 1,000.

There are some other NITs but they don't offer Data Science courses exclusively.
As for fee, it'll cost around 190000 per annum without hostel but it's different for every college.
As for eligibility, you just need to really well in JEE mains.

Anna University offers BE/BTech courses via its affiliated colleges on the basis of JEE Main ranks, followed by TNEA counselling for admission. For AI & Data Science, the TNEA last round cutoff ranks varied between 2504 and 145989, wherein the most competitive cutoff rank was for Sri Sairam Engineering College for admission to the AI & Data Science course. To get into UMBC Masters of Professional Studies in Data Science, the applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in any subject. In the UG degree, a minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
