I mean certifications are useless if you do not know them. Even, without certifications if you can confidently tell the recruiter that you have knowledge in them and solve a few questions you will get a job.

It depends upon your choice. If you want to be a lecturer then go for NET exam, otherwise go for government jobs like SSC, UPSC, PSU, etc.
