Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 49084 and closing rank was 843823. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, Manipal Academy of Higher Education is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam NEET. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Santosh Dental College and Hospital, Santosh University has been increasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses. under general category for all India quota was 10817. In 2022, it increased to 1026355. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 264581 to 1026355 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for medical education in India continues to grow.

Santosh Dental College and Hospital, Santosh University will release 4-5 rounds of NEET cutoffs for admission to medical courses. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
The NEET score of the candidate
The category of the candidate
The number of seats available in the course
Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

For last year, the closing rank for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) was 1026355 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Santosh Dental College and Hospital, Santosh University.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at Santosh Dental College and Hospital, Santosh University other than General category are - 1026355 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State.
