The last year’s 2022 cutoff ranks for Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at KGMU - King George's Medical University other than the General category are - 31682 for OBC, 120239 for SC, 24859 for EWS, 23381 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in the NEET exam, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, the opening rank was 20731 and the closing rank was 25581. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at KGMU - King George's Medical University is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam NEET. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying for while checking for cut-offs.

The cutoff for NEET MDS 2022 for Sharavathi Dental College and Hospital, Shimoga is as follows:
UR/EWS: 50th Percentile, 263
SC/ST/OBC (including PwD of SC/ST/OBC): 40th Percentile, 227
UR PwD: 45th Percentile, 243

Yes, there are chances that you can get into government medical college for MBBS or BDS with 548 marks in NEET.

With 193 marks, you won't be able to get a seat in any government or private medical colleges as there cut off is usually above 550.
However, you do have a chance in getting admission to the following deemed universities in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, based on the previous year cut off-
1. Shri Sathya Sai Medical College, Kanchipuram- 173
2. Dr. DY Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai- 183
3. ACS Medical College, Chennai- 168
4. Santosh Medical College, Ghaziabad- 167

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is the authorised body with the authority to conduct NEET UG 2023 counselling for candidates who meet the requirements.

There are 4 government BDS colleges in Gujarat. With 483 marks in NEET, you may be eligible for a seat in one of these colleges. However, the exact cutoff for each college will not be known until after the NEET results are released.
