Design Entrance Exam

Selection process of NIFT's MFM programme comprises of Written test comprising of a General Ability Test (GAT) followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD/PI) for shortlisted candidates of the written examination. The GAT components are given below.
1. Quantitative Ability : 10 Questions
2. Communication Ability and English Comprehension : 50 Questions
3. Analytical and logical Ability : 25 Questions
4. General Knowledge and Current Affairs : 25 Questions
5. Case study : 40 Questions
Total questions =150
Time duration : 180 Min. There is no complete book is available for NIFT's MFM entrance preparation. However you can buy few books online from Amazon or Flipkart.

Please read CEED information Brochure 2021 for better understanding. The following information is available in Brochure as under. Candidates who are applying in the EWS / SC / ST / OBC-NCL category have to produce valid category certificates (. Pdf file) issued by appropriate authorities. EWS / OBC-NCL certificates issued only from April 1,2020 onwards are accepted for the examination. The candidates must produce a valid category Certificate at the time of applying for the admission in the respective institute. Format of the OBC-NCL Certificate is given in the Appendix 2. Format of the SC / ST certificates is given in the Appendix 3. Format of the EWS Certificate is given in Appendix 4. Please remember that the documents 1-7 above are to be uploaded as electronic files during the online registration. Paper copies of these documents or any other documents will not be entertained and hence should NOT be sent to the UCEED-CEED office. The Admit Card and the Score Card of CEED will include the photograph and signature submitted by the candidate. Submission of poor quality photograph and / or signature may lead to the rejection of CEED registration.

The eligibility criteria of M.FTech of NIFT is given below:Educational Qualification for Masters Programme in Fashion Technology- M.FTech (Master of Fashion Technology) : B.FTech. From National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) or B.E / B.Tech. From any Institute / University recognised by law in India.Age criteria : No upper age limit.Note : Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply provided: That they produce a proof of having acquired the minimum prescribed qualifications at the time of counselling/ admission. So from above you can be eligible for NIFT's M.FTech programme in final semester of your B.Tech course. However, B.Tech students are eligible for the M.FTech programme.
