It depends on the course you have applied for. They have 5 different types of exams: B.Des, B.Tech, M.Des, M.Tech, M.F.M. Tell me, which one you have applied for?.

Hi Nithya,
National Institute of Design (NID) will publish the cut-off of NID that 2018 after the Mains exam will conclude. Although, the cut-off list in the last 2 years has remained around 60 percent.

Hello Muskan, Let me try to answer your query in a different manner and not by and specific number. This is because examination pattern for different entrance keeps on changing and there is no proper clear-cut demarcation on the cut-off. Difficulty level fluctuates and so do the student SET. So try to give your the best and not think a particular cut-off. Do your the best and you will achieve the best for you. Thanks.

Hi Vanshika,
Please mention from where did you download the sample papers. Is it from Shiksha or some other website? Also, the sample paper those are available online are for reference purpose only, to give you an idea about the exam pattern. For practicing purpose, it will be better to refer to the coaching guides available in the market.

Studio/ situation test tests your practical skills in creativity.
You need to be innovative and of course creative. The 3D model you come up with, should have something catchy with new ideas.
So, in situation test, you have to give your more as practical creativity.
