On a basic perspective, MBA is all about management and respective required skills whereas Masters in one's particular field is something different. If you consider yourself better at managing skills you can go for MBA. But if you want to master your field and do something different, in other words, you want to go for entrepreneurship, then go for MFM. And since, you have an option for MFM from NIFT, I would suggest you to rather not loose this chance and certainly give it a try. All the best with your decision!

In Diploma course you will learn the basics of fashion designing and in degree course you'll learn a to z of fashion designing and I don't think NIFT has diploma course.

You can refer to Arihant NIFT, NID IIFT entrance examination, which is the best book for preparation. Also, you can read newspaper and magazines to gain the knowledge of current affairs, fashion brands and brand ambassadors. You can also refer to these links to understand the exam's pattern, syllabus and all the guidance that you need for a B. Des exam:

Hi Ameya,
You should have a minimum score of 50 percent at least to be eligible to apply for admission in the premium design colleges. Rest, the admission majorly depends on your performance in the entrance exam which is a 2 stage test: General ability test and creative ability test.

You can pursue a course in textile designing. Some of the great colleges in India offering this course include:
1. National Institute of Design
2. NIFT
3. Symbiosis Institute of Design
4. MIT Institute of Design
