Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University provides scholarships to its students to offer quality and affordable education to them. To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates need to apply and appear for the scholarship entrance test. Find below the details regarding the scholarship and the scholarship entrance test:

Scholarship Entrance Test:
To apply for the scholarship, candidates should visit the official website or contact the administration office. The mode of exam will be online, with duration of 90 min and eligibility for the same is candidate must be appearing in Class 12.

Scholarship Details:

• Merit-based Scholarship: It provides merit-based scholarships to meritorious students. 
• Other Scholarships: Candidates falling in the following categories are eligible for their respective scholarship awards.

Note: Scholarship will be applicable only on tuition fees.

The admission process for both UG programmes at DBSAD can be done online or through a walk-in registration process. After confirmation of admission, candidates are required to deposit the admission fee according to the college norms.  For admission to the architecture programmes at the UG level, candidates must have a valid score in NATA, which is a national-level entrance exam. On the other hand, admission to the BDes course is based on the student's merit and credibility.

Here are the detailed steps for the admission process at DBSAD: 

1. Application: Candidates can apply through online or offline mode by registering and filling out the application form. 
2. Selection rounds: Candidates need to appear for the university-based selection rounds and wait for the release of the results. 
3. Admission confirmation: Once the selection rounds are done, shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification. Aspirants must pay the course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

Here are the minimum cutoff criteria for admission to the B.Des program at  NMIMS School of Design:-

• Qualifying Exam:- You need to have cleared either NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) or NMIMS-CEED (Common Entrance Exam for Design)
• Minimum Score Required:- 
  -For NMIMS-CEED  - Minimum 50 percentile score.
  -For NATA -  Minimum 90/200 marks.
• 12th Standards Marks:-
  - You need a minimum aggregate score of 60% in 12th boards.
  - Minimum 50% marks in any one of the subjects - Physics, Chemistry or Maths.
  - Additionally, shortlisted candidates will also have to undergo a Studio Test and Personal Interview conducted by NMIMS before final admissions.

In summary, the important B.Des cutoffs at NMIMS School of Design are 60 percentile on the 12th board and a minimum of 50 percentile on the NMIMS-CEED or 90/200 on NATA.

NMIMS School of Design accepts the following entrance exam scores for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate design programs :- 

• NMIMS Design Aptitude Test (DAT) :-
  This is NMIMS' own entrance test specifically for design admissions
  It has a written aptitude test, case study analysis and creative ability assessment
  DAT scores are mandatory for all NMIMS design programs.
• NID DAT :-
  Scores from National Institute of Design's Design Aptitude Test are also accepted
  NID DAT also assesses creative and design abilities through multiple choice questions and case studies.
• CEED
  Common Entrance Examination for Design conducted by IIT Bombay
  Tests visual perception, creativity, drawing, etc. CEED qualified candidates can apply for NMIMS design programs.
• UCEED
  Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design accepted for B.Des admissions
  Conducted by IIT Bombay to assess design-based thinking skills
• In addition, candidates have to provide Class 12th percentage, portfolio, Standardized tests scores (SAT, in specific cases) as applicable for different NMIMS design admissions.

In conclusion, NID DAT, CEED, and UCEED scores are required, but NMIMS DAT scores are required in order for candidates to apply to the school of design's design programs.

 But Based on the information available from previous years' cutoffs and admissions trends, getting into NMIMS School of Design with just 70% in the NMIMS Design Aptitude Test (DAT) seems unlikely or very difficult.

Some key points regarding NMIMS School of Design admissions based on DAT scores: -

• For the B.Des programme at Mumbai campus, the NMIMS DAT cutoffs have generally been around 80% or higher for general category candidates.
• In 2022, the minimum DAT percentile expected for general category was 90+ for the Mumbai campus. For other reserved categories, it was slightly lower between 75-85%.
