BDes is provided in specialisations such as Product Design, Interior and Retail Space Design, Transportation and Mobility Design, User Experience and Interaction Design, Graphics & Communication Design, Animation and VFX, and Game Design. The mode of UPES School of Design course admission is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are  CUET,  NIFT Entrance Exam, JEE Main, NID Entrance Exam,  UCEED,  UPES DAT, and others. If applying through NID, candidates must know the NID exam pattern and solve as many NID question papers as possible. 

Yes, JEE Main is only one of the accepted entrance exams for admission to the UPES School of Design. There are various other entrance exams accepted by the UPES School of Design which are  CUET,  NIFT Entrance Exam,  NID Entrance Exam,  UCEED,  UPES DAT, and others. Students can take admission through these entrance exams but if a student is applying through JEE Main, a valid score in JEE Main is necessary.
