The field of fashion design has a great potential for employment opportunities. You can most certainly pursue fashion designing at post graduation level. PGD in Fashion Design is open to all graduates irrespective of the streams. There are many remarkable institutes in India like NIFT, Pearl Academy, JD institute of Fashion Technology, Vogue Institute of Fashion Technology and B.D. Somani Institute of Art and Fashion Technology that offer Post Graduate Diploma in Fashion Design.

You can download their brochure which contains important information regarding classes and admissions to a course from the institute. B.F.Tech i.e. Bachelor of fashion technology is an undergraduate fashion and interior designing course. Its duration is 4-years. Eligibility is 10+2 or equivalent.
It focuses on advanced garment construction, tailoring, fitting, formal wear techniques and many more.
The course covers creative and technical aspects of pattern making, construction, design, colour and textiles, and fashion history and business.
