Yes, you can apply for the diploma course. The course is available in 2 modes: regular and distance. Both are of 1-year duration.

For diploma, you don't need to study 12th. You can join the same after 10th itself.

In India, M.Sc is a full-time course with a duration of 2 years. The fee would depend on the institute. A Govt. aided university will be cheaper as compared to a private university.
