Both SPA Delhi and Vishwakarma University are good options to pursue MDes. However, in terms of affordability, SPA Delhi is more affordable since the tuition fees to pursue MDes at SPA Delhi is INR 1.8 lakh, and the tuition fee to pursue MDes at Vishwakarma University is INR 7.5 lakh.

In order to determine which is a better choice, students must weigh both options based on important factors such as fees and median package. As per official sources, the tuition fees to pursue an MDes at SPA Delhi and The Design Village are INR 1.8 Lacs and INR 12.5 lakh, respectively. In terms of fees, SPA Delhi is a better choice.
Moreover, as per the placement page on Shiksha, the median packages offered to MDes students at SPA Delhi and The Design Village stood at INR 6.75 LPA and INR 6 LPA, respectively. In terms of placements, MDes at SPA Delhi is a better choice.

As per the SPA Delhi NIRF 2024 report, a total of 157 PG (2-year) students were placed during the placement drive held in 2023. Other than this, the report states that the median package offered to overall PG (2-year) students stood at INR 6.75 LPA. Moreover, some of the top recruiters who have participated in the past years placements included Ernst & Young, WSP India, Honda Motor Company, etc.

In order to get admission to BDes at UID Delhi-NCR, students are required to pass Class 12 or three year Diploma in any stream from any recognised higher secondary board/ institute. The selection is done based on the performance of candidates in the UID DAT exam and Situation Test & Portfolio evaluation, which is conducted in offline mode.

Yes, UID Delhi NCR offers internships to BDes students. Additionally, well-planned exits for all BDes students from guidance on Higher Studies by Team United-world Wide (UWW), Internships & Placements guidance and support by Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) has been given by the institute.

UID Delhi-NCR Goenka University has a seat intake of 30 for the BDes (Hons) in Global Design programme. Students are admitted as per the sanctioned seat intake and selection criteria. The seat intake for this course varies for the Ahmedabad campus. Moreover, the aforementioned seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body. The institue reserves the right to revise the seat intake.
