SEED syllabus will include questions from Visual Sensitivity and Judgement, Observational, Perceptual and Reasoning abilities, Problem Solving, Basic knowledge of Logic of Science and Mathematics, Art, Craft and Culture, Design and Environment. The candidate may solve previous years' question papers to get an idea regarding the types of questions asked and difficulty level. 

Questions will be asked in SEED MCQ, Match the Columns, Fill in the blanks, image-based and comprehension based. The duration of the SEED exam will be 60 minutes, while there will be 60 questions.

Eligibility criteria for admission to B.Des programme SEED 2026 is

• There is no age limit for admission to the B.Des program
• Candidate must have passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognised board or 10+3 Diploma approved by the State Board of Technical Education.
• Candidate needs to have secured a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes) in the qualifying exam.
• Candidates from any stream having completed or appeared for 10+2 can apply for any specialisation in design at SID.
