Application form for NIFT 2024 is available online from December 5, 2023 to January 3, 2023. Candidates can go through the official website and fill the application form and make the payment.
The NIFT 2024 Examination is scheduled on 5 December 2024.

Every year, the BDes, BArch, and BPlan programmes at Shantaben Manubhai Patel Institute of Architecture and Interior Design offer competitive placements. On the official website, the placement information for batch 2023 has not yet been made public. Des is offered by Shantaben Manubhai Patel School of Studies & Research in Architecture and Interior Design. Yes, you can try B. Des at SMAID if you have scored 75 percentage in ISC. Shantaben Manubhai Patel School of Studies & Research in Architecture and Interior Design offers B. Des, a 4-year UG-level degree course. The basic eligibility criteria is that the candidates must have passed 10+2 with Science Stream Group A, Group AB Commerce Stream, and Arts with 40% in aggregate from a recognized board, which includes ISC. Another alternate criteria is that candidates who have passed NIOS (10+2)* (Foundation Certificate Courses, conducted at the institute level) are also eligible.

NMIMS SOD only offers B. Des course in Humanizing Technology it is amongst the top demanded specialization in design stream. Institute is affiliated with NMIMS University Mumbai, course are highly in demand amongst students. Humanizing Technology involves the study of Interaction Design and User Experience (UX) Design to enhance the experience of users. Humanizing Technology has high scope, all industries need designers to improve Technology and make product less difficult to use also it is important to provide quality experience of products to customers. Both institutes are best private design colleges in Mumbai and both of the institute are affiliated with private universities but offers different specialisation in B.Des. courses.
NMIMS School of Design offers B.Des programme in Humanising Technology and there are only 30 seats. While ITM Institute has B.Des in four specialisations like in VFX and Animation and total intake is 120 students annually. Both institutes are top tear colleges and placements are 100% and average packages are good. So, which college is best it depends on specialisation that you want. NMIMS School of Design, Mumbai offers a B.Des programme in Humanising Technology at Undergraduate level. Minimum criteria to apply for the programme is HSC with total 50% in all subjects. The admission is granted on the basis of a valid score and merit in NMIMS-DAT above 80 percentile are required to get selected. The questions and discussions in the studio test and interview revolve around problem-solving, design thinking, technology awareness and interest of the individual.
