No, SEED M.Des 2026 application forms have not been released yet. The applications are out only for the B.Des programme by Symbiosis Institute of Design. M.Des Applications for 2026 are expected to be out soon.

Typically it may take around 6 months to complete the SEED 2025 exam syllabus. However, if your fundamentals are strong, you can complete the syllabus in less time. The SEED 2025 syllabus will include topics like - Visual Sensitivity and Judgement, Observational, Perceptual and Reasoning abilities, Problem Solving, Basic knowledge of Logic of Science and Mathematics, Art, Craft and Culture, Design and Environment.
It is recommended that the candidate don’t wait for the last few months to prepared for the SEED 2025 exam. If one starts one exam preparation early, then one will have enough elbow room to tweak one’s preparation

The syllabus for the design aptitude test is prescribed by the exam conducting authority, the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID). With this, the exam pattern is also decided by it. The candidate must note that SID reserves the right to make any changes it deems necessary to the exam syllabus. So, the candidate must consult the updated exam pattern when strating their exam preparation. Note that typically wholesale changes to the exam syllabus is not done.
For instance, the exam syllabus for UCEED was changed in 2023, but some parts were kept as it is.

The SEED 2025 syllabus is released by the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID). It is very possible that the candidate finds some topics difficult. When the candidate encounters difficult topics, the first urge should be to try a little harder to tackle the topic. But if you are not able to get it done with that extra effort, it is better to take the help of a teacher, peer, or a guide. Or else you will end up spending prodigious time. Also, if you are not able to get any help at the moment, you may consider leaving out that topic for the moment. And once you are done with the rest of the topics, you can come back and try out the diffic

The SEED 2025 exam will be conducted tentatively in the 2nd week of January 2025. As per the official SEED syllabus, the question paper will include questions from the following topics - Visual Sensitivity and Judgement, Observational, Perceptual and Reasoning abilities, Problem Solving, Basic knowledge of Logic of Science and Mathematics, Art, Craft and Culture, Design and Environment. The candidate may solve previous years’ question papers to get an idead regarding the types of questions asked and difficulty level.

The SEED 2025 exam will be administered in an online proctored mode. Candidates seeking admission to the B.Des programme at the Symbiosis Institute of Design need to ensure that their exam preparation is top notch and bereft of any major follies.
Here are the important toipics that candidates need to prepre for the SEED 2025 exam:
Visual Sensitivity and Judgement, Observational, Perceptual and Reasoning abilities, Problem Solving, Basic knowledge of Logic of Science and Mathematics, Art, Craft and Culture, Design and Environment.
Note that a majority of the questions will be asked from the important topics.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will release the updated syllabus for the SEED 2025 exam on its official portal at the time of release of the application form or sometime thereabout. The candidate can downoad the syllabus online at - sid.edu.in. The SEED 2025 syllabus will contain the topics that the candidate needs to prepare for the SEED 2025 entrance exam.
It is recommended that the candidate only follows the official syllabus and not those released by unofficial sources. It is because questions will be asked from the official syllabus only. Also, unofficial sites may contain error-prone and misleading information.

The start date for uploading portfolios is March 27, 2025. The portfolio upload link was given on the SID admission portal. The candidate needed to follow the specified guidelines when uploading the portfolio.
The portfolio contained the following elements:
Sketches, mixed media illustrations and digital work
Collaging of images, 2D and 3D articles
Photography
3D objects like sculpture, fabric products, gadgets, art inspired products etc.

The call letters for the personal interview (PRPI admit card) were issued on March 21, 2025. The admit card were issued only to candidates who complete the slot booking process.
Note hard copies of the call letter are sent to the candidate.
On the day of the PRPI, the candidate will have to display the admit card on demand. Any candidate failing to do so will not be allowed to sit in the exam.
