As per NIFT Kangra second round cutoff 2026, the total range is between 238 and 2908. So those students, who have scored a rank in this range and come under the General AI category, are eligible for admission.
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) takes the NIFT entrance exam scores into consideration, followed by the NIFT Counselling procedure for admission in the BDes program.
Note: For other categories/quotas/courses, etc., the cutoff will be different.

NIFT Jodhpur BFTech course 2025 was released for admission to various All India and Home State quotas. For the General AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 540 to 2636 for the BFTech in Apparael Production course.
For the OBC AI quota, the round 1 and last round closing ranks were 1714 and 3044, respectively. Students can refer to the list below to know the cutoff range for other categories.

- SC: 2407 to 2407(R1)
- ST: 2862 to 2862 (R1)

As per the NIFT Hyderabad round 2 cutoff 2026 the overall closing rank for BDes ranged bteween 306 and 1555 for the General AI category. Hence, students need a rank of at least 1555 or below to gain admission at NIFT Hyderabad for the BDes course branches.
Students can refer to the table below for the round 2 cutoff for the General AI category. Other categories, round, courses, etc, will have different cutoffs accordingly.

Delhi offers design courses at various levels like UG, PG and PHd. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to a design course at the UG, PG and Doctorate levels are mentioned in the table below.

Delhi is home to about 170 Design colleges. The number 1 design college in Delhi is National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT Delhi). The National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi (also known as NIFT Delhi), which was founded in 1986, initially only provided one Design course from a temporary two-room setup. NIFT Delhi moved to its permanent campus, which was created by Dr. BV Doshi, in 1994. NIFT is a statutory institute governed by the NIFT Act 2006 and was established in 1986 under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
