National Institute of Fashion Technology offers B.Des programme courses of 4 years. It offers both B.Des in Fashion Design and Fashion Communication, B.Des in Fashion Design provides various courses like graphic designing, fashion photography amd journalism etc. B.Des in communication is trending thes days and it is more interestimg and diverse .
Both of these courses are good and different from their own curriculum and the selection between these two courses are depend upon interest area of an individual.

National Institute of Fashion Technology, kolkata offers Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programme which is of 4 years. Admission to this course is based on required marks scored by student in NIFT entrance exam. The entrance exam includes Creative assesment test (CAT) and General Aptitude Test (GAT) the candidates who clears both of these are required to aplear for SAT which is the final selection. Student should not be older than 24 years old ( 29 years for SC/ST/ PWD category students) as on august 1 of the year of admission.

National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kolkata is a Government institution which provides various courses for students in the field of fashion designing and management. It stands as a pioneer of fashion training and research .
This is one of the best institutions for the students who really want to pursue fashion designing as career. Here placement opportunities are good, students are allowed to sit in NIFT placements all over centres that increases exposure. The average package is between 3.5 - 4 LPA. Reymonds, Laguna, Silver sparks are some top recruiting companies.

The National institute of fashion technology, Kolkata offers a plethora of courses among which bachelor's in design is very prominent . The course is of four years and the fees of each year is around 1,67,250, which makes a total sum of 6,69,000 for four years. The hostel fee of the college is around 9,000 per semester which the students are bound to pay before shifting, along with a 23000 in advance. If that doesn't fit in your budget you can also go for outside shelters which would cost you Rs 85000 on an average. Above all the infrastructure and the facilities which the college provides for this particular course is worth every penn

Candidates may note that IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint Seat Allotment or counseling for admission to the M.Des programme offered by participating colleges. This means the role of IIT Bombay is limited to the conduct and declaration of results for the CEED 2024 exam.
It is the responsibility of the candidate to apply to the participating colleges for admission based on their CEED 2024 merit ranks.
The participating colleges will open the counseling application form soon after CEED 2024 results are declared.
