Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Apart from the only national Open University IGNOU there are 13 state open universities, regular universities too, that offer distance learning programs through Directorates of Distance Education (DDE) or Centers of Distance Education (CDE). My dear candidate, No, you cannot study overseas with an Annamalai University distance learning degree. In recent news, the UGC ruled that Annamalai University's ODL degrees are all null and void. On March 25, the UGC published a notice stating that Annamalai University did not previously receive authorisation from the UGC to conduct any open or remote learning courses. The UGC continued by advising students not to enrol in the ODL courses offered by Annamalai University. The statement that regular and distant mode degrees cannot be compared is largely accurate.

Hello Shubham, when you are doing any course by distance education, you must not make any false statements. There is a very good news from TamilNadu. They have allowed engineering students to go in for TWO distance education courses that are similar to the branch of graduation AND by passing, the credits too can be transferred to your graduation degree course. I only hope that other universities too follow this path. Best wishes to you.

It is better to study BBA/B.A/ B.Com in regular mode if planning to do MBA in future. But there are people who made it to IIM after graduation from distance mode. The distance college should be reputed and duly approved by DEC. Few good option for distance BBA could be Symbosi, NMIMS, IGNOU, Anamali, Pondicherry, Kurushetra, LPU, Amity etc.
