Please let me know your category so that I can suggest you better however for general candidates the closing rank of the 6th round goes upto 10000 rank in CSE and upto 12000 rank in IT. All the best.

DTU provides direct 2nd year lateral admission to engineering Diploma holders through the Common Entrance Exam. CEE is a written exam of two hrs of duration and consist of 90 multiple choice objective questions. The last year exam was conducted on July 7, 2018.

When you're getting admission in Thapar for such a great course, why go anywhere else? M.E. CAD/CAM Engineering in Thapar is pretty great, and comes with good faculty, good crowd, good curriculum and so on. This is what you really need to make it far ahead in life, especially in this stream. Don't overthink, with Thapar's placements and packages, you should only be choosing Thapar.

Hello Rahul, you are already studying in the first year of engineering in one of the engineering colleges and now is desirous of seeking admission in the second year of engineering in an engineering college under DTU. Right? I am afraid it's not possible. It's like changing college midway in a course.

DTU offers B.Tech evening and B.Tech lateral entry programs in civil, mechanical, electrical and ECE. The admission are based on performance in Common Entrance Exam. So you may choose anyone programme i.e; B.Tech evening or lateral.
