Hello Masarat,
The seats for lateral admission can be taken as 10% of the normal intake of first year. However this is only a rough figure. The university will normally announce seats availability at the start of admission process. What I can advise you is that try to score as much marks in diploma to ensure admission.
Best wishes to you.

Well, I will not be biased here but according to me DTU for CS is the best option one can have. Jhadavpur is out of the box simply as it doesn't meet the university level that DTU is having.

A minor is an addition to the main branch you are studying and you will have to take a couple of courses extra than general ICT students and in DA CS is Computational Science, not computer Science. I being a DA student and knowing about my friends in NITs and other reputed colleges would tell you to prefer DA over NITs because you have given a choice between computer or circuits based branches in your future which makes me guess that you are not sure between the two and when you join DA, the course is

Hi Rahul,
Recently, DTU (Delhi Technical University) had a issue where in the students came to know that it was a part time degree not a full time. Source : Quint (https://www.thequint.com/news/education/dtu-students-protest-part-time-btech-degree)
So I suggest & recommend you to do B Tech course only from a reputed college. Amity University is one of the top most private university in India & we offer B Tech specialisation courses in variety of fields.

Its getting important to score 70+ in 12 these days. Be it percentile or percentage cutoff, you are at fix with 59% marks. Wish you do once via NIOS and secure a 75%+ marks. Else, it does not look of chances present for you to get admission.
