Yes, you can apply to DTU Counselling, as you are from general category, you will not get admission in core branches like CS, IT, etc. To apply for counselling click on the following link:

I will suggest you to join DTU with polymer science and chemical technology from Delhi technological University. HBTI is degrading day by day. Also, the reputation of DTU is very good.

I guess you should go with MPAE in NSIT. It has been in college for a very long time while MAM in DTU is new relatively. Plus, MPAE, being an old branch in NSIT has good placement records and faculty. Till date, 4 students from MPAE have gone to MIT so one can even opt for higher studies. Both tech and non tech companies come for placements of MPAE lads.
Also, with the introduction of mechanical in NSIT last year the number of companies visiting the campus for placements is likely to increase in the coming years. MPAE being a mix of Mechanical, electronics and Computer science offers a wide variety to students and an equal chance to ex
