The total tuition fee for MBA is INR 2.87 Lacs and INR 2.95 lakh. This fee, however, is sourced from unofficial sources. Hence, is indicative. Additionally, the application fee for all courses at DTU INR 1,500 for General and OBC category candidates; and for SC/ST and PwD candidates, the registration fee is INR 750 which needs to be paid online. The registration process will remain incomplete till the submission of the registration fee.

Usually, the cutoff for DTU stays around 90, even for the reserved categories. Therefore, getting into B.Tech courses at DTU is difficult with a JEE Main percentile score of 90 or below. The cutoff also goes high and low every year, depending on the following factors:

  • Number of aspirants registered
  • The difficulty level of the exam
  • Total number of seats available
  • Total number of applications received for a particular program
  • Category under which admission is sought

Therefore, it is very difficult to predict the exact cutoff and give an exact answer to this question. Students can, however, use this college predictor created by Shiksha to know

Yes, securing an acceptable score in JEE Mains is necessary to get admission into the BTech course at DTU. Moreover, before appearing in the examination, applicants must ensure that they have qualified for the minimum eligibility requirements first. Ongoing, for the admission conclusion, the university accepts the candidates who have been selected in the JAC counselling.

With this rank it is very difficult to get good branch in these engineering colleges although you have state quota.

Yes, you can get admission, but in private colleges and some of the low grade government colleges too. The eligibility criteria in the qualifying marks (12th class) is 60%. You are eligible.

DTU is generally considered to have a slightly higher ranking and recognition.DTU and NSUT have good placement records in the CSE domain and other factors are also similar if you have a favourite in this I would say you can go to that college but if you are looking for suggestions then DTU for their higher ranking that to be very slight.

First of all, congratulations to score a good rank in this examination.

Umm, whether you'll get CSE in DTU or not depends on many criterias, such as your category and Home state quota. If you're a general Delhi candidate, you will not get CSE, as your rank didn't clear the cutoff for the branch, similarly if you're a general outside Delhi candidate, definitely you won't get admission in CSE.

But don't lose hope, there are many other NIT's in which you can try to get a seat:

  • Dr. B. R. Ambedkar NIT Jalandhar
  • Malaviya NIT Jaipur, etc.

Good luck with the allotment process.

You stand a good chance of being admitted to the CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) programme at one of the NITs (National Institutes of Technology), IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology), NSUT (Netaji Subhas University of Technology), or DTU (Delhi Technological University) with a JEE Main rank of 9235 in the SC category. The number of seats and the entrance requirements for each institute will, however, determine which colleges within these institutions can accept applicants.

Congratulations in achieving this rank and all the best wishes for your further studies!
