The graduates of ENMU can join the university's alumni association. Alumni social events, the Homecoming, the annual Golf Tournament, are some of the events that the graduates of Eastern New Mexico Uni can attend. By joining this alumni association, students have many opportunities to connect with other alumni, reconnect with old friends, etc.

Eastern New Mexico Foundation scholarships are for the UG and PG who show academic excellence. The award amount varies. To receive ENMU Foundation scholarships, students must apply to first to the university and the, submit the scholarship application. 

The campus of ENMU is of 433 acres. There are three campuses of ENMU, with one being the main campus and other two are the branch campuses. The main campus of Eastern New Mexico Uni is located in Portales. Other two branch campuses of ENMU are Ruidoso and Roswell. 

ENMU offers housing to its students. Students who are under 21 years of age and have less than 30 hours of college credit are required to live on-campus and purchase meal plan. Students can live on-campus and apartments. Students applying to housing Eastern New Mexico University are required to submit USD 150 damage deposit. 

In Fall 2025, ENMU enrolled 6,000+ students. Out of this, 4,388 were UG students and 1,614 were PG students. The students at this university hail from 30+ countries and 50+ states. The female student population is 68% and that of male students is 32%. 

Eastern New Mexico University athletics is at NCAA Division II. It is also a member of the highly competitive Lone Star Conference. This university competes in 13 sports (6 men's sporrts and 7 women's sports). A few of the sports that are available at ENMU are Baseball, Basketball, Football, Track & Field, etc. 

ENMU ranks at #54 in the U.S. News ranking for 2026 for category of Social Mobility for Regional Universities in the West. Also, this university has been ranked among the Top 50 Public universities in the West and among the Top 100 Regional Universities in the West. ENMU is New Mexico's the largest regional comprehensive university. 

Acceptance rate at ENMU is around 92%. This acceptance rate of ENMU suggests that this university is very selective at the time of admission. It is easy to get into ENMU as long as students meet all the entry requirements. For admission to UG courses of ENMU, Indian students should have passed High school. Whereas for admission to PG courses, a Bachelor's degree is required.
