Based on my experience, GIBS has received good recognition in recent rankings.
IIRF 2025: Ranked 49th among private B-Schools in India.
Times 2025: Ranked 71st among Management Institutes in India.
When I was looking for colleges, I checked rankings too, but I didn't make my decision based only on that. I wanted a college that offered good exposure, practical learning, internships, and placement support.
That's why I chose GIBS Bangalore, and I'm happy with my decision. My suggestion is to use rankings as one factor, but also look at the learning environment, industry exposure, and the opportunities you'll get during your cours

From my experience, GIBS never made me feel like I had to manage everything by myself.
Whenever it came to internships or placements, there was always some kind of guidance. We had sessions on resumes, mock interviews, aptitude, communication skills, and regular interactions with industry professionals. It really helped me understand how to prepare for jobs instead of figuring it out on my own.
I also liked that the focus wasn't only on placements. Throughout the course, we were encouraged to keep learning new skills and participate in different activities, which helped build confidence.
By the time placements started, I felt much more pr

Honestly, that's how I felt about GIBS. It never felt like I was just going to college, attending classes, and coming back home.
Before joining, I had compared a few colleges and even spoke to friends and cousins who were studying in different places. After all that, I finally chose GIBS Bangalore, and I'm really glad I did.
Throughout my PGDM, there was always something happening—workshops, guest sessions, industry visits, internships, college events, and placement activities. I got to meet new people, learn from industry experts, and improve my confidence along the way.
I later got placed at KPMG, and when I look back now, I feel GIBS

The BESC fee ranges between INR 1.38 Lacs and 4.48lakh. The cheapest is of MCom and the maximum one if of BA. Since it doesn't provide hostel facility, so that expense is not included, and has to be done externally. Apart from this, there can be other fees which is not mentioned on the portal.

For me, what makes GIBS special is that it's not just about classes and exams. The college gives you a lot of opportunities to learn, explore, and grow as a person.
When I joined, I was a bit shy and not very confident while speaking in front of others. But slowly, through presentations, workshops, guest sessions, industry visits, and different activities, I became much more confident. It really helped me come out of my comfort zone, and today I feel much more comfortable interacting with people.
I also like that GIBS focuses a lot on practical learning. We get exposure through live projects, certifications, internships, and placement tr
