See from the jobs point of view, the best is EEE instead of ECE as there are quality placements in the ECE but in EEE there are quantity placements but this also depends on the college.

In electrical engineering, you will study about the electricity generation and the equipment used in that like motors, wires, generators, etc., but in the electronics engineering, you will study about the manufacturing of the electronics products and their assembling.

See, in electrical engineering, you will study about the wiring and wire harnessing only but in the electrical and electronic engineering, you will also about the electronics products manufacturing and also other things the EEE is more advanced than EE.

Hello Radha Krishna, Yes, you can definitely clear GATE 2019, even though you are in the final year of EEE. There are plenty of students who are in the final year of engineering and appear for GATE. Now the syllabus for GATE is invariably the syllabus that is covered in the branch of engineering which you are studying. Hence there is not much different which is required to be studied. Of course the exam pattern is different and hence it is advisable if you can take some mock test for GATE before the actual exam. In JEE Mains for mechanical engineering, you have to score more than 200 marks for good NIIT and same for EEE.

You should opt for EE, as when you graduate from this college, the demand of EE has touched the sky, but at that time the EE engineers are not that much that can meet the demand of the industry.

The difference between EE and ECE is that EE engineering. Works at high voltage of 440V and ECE engineering. Works at low voltage of 5V.

Hello Soumyadeep,It is very nice to know your interest in GIS and Remote Sensing. These are the two areas which are going to have huge job potential in the future. GIS even presently has an unfulfilled requirement of plenty of jobs. Remote Sensing is of course the technology of the future. This is bound to be used in almost every sphere of our life. In India, no university is offering B.Tech or BE degrees in engineering and technology. This type degrees in distance education has banned by government of India. Up to 2009 JNTU Hyderabad, Andhra university Visakhapatnam Nagarjuna university Guntur Karnataka university Mysore,and IGNOU New Delhi offered this type degrees. and AMIE of institution of engineers Calcutta also offer this type. In this AMIE is only recognized by government of India and no other university in India having the recognition by HRD ministry.
So, please note no university recognized by government of India and UGC. But, this matter is under the consideration of UGC
