BIT Mesra has a placement cell and the students have to undergo many activities like resume writing, interview training etc. to be placed in different companies.
- Talking about placement, the placement report reveals the fact that there is a constant rise in the maximum salary offered to the students year by year. The highest package was INR 35 LPA for the graduating batch of EEE students for the year 2021-22 which was extended by Tower Research.

Depending on the cutoff for that year, you may be able to get into the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) branch with an AUEET rank of 3537 and be from the SC category. You might have a greater chance because SC category cutoffs are often lower, but for a more precise estimate, it's best to review the cutoffs from prior years.

In EEE, you have to deal with a lot of electrical circuits. For that, you should have a interest in these electricity and electronics part like whatever you studied in Current electricity, Semiconductors etc in class 12.Tese chapters don’t exactly define about EEE but they are somewhat similar. So if you don’t have some specific interest then don’t take these core branches, instead of that you should take Computer Science or Information Science in some lower colleges. Now coming to colleges, placements are not that much bigger in these colleges. It offers better infrastructure, faculty, and industry connections. However, both institutions provide excellent education, so consider factors like campus facilities, location, and personal preferences when making your decision.

You must take into account your rank, category, and the previous year's cutoffs in order to calculate your chances of receiving an ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) or EEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) at SKCET, Kumaraguru College of Technology, or Rajalakshmi Engineering College through TNEA 2024. Due to demand, these colleges typically have high ECE and EEE cutoffs. You have a good chance of getting a seat in these branches at these institutions if your TNEA rank is among the top few thousand.
