There is wide scope in the electrical engineering field as the Indian economy is growing at a very high rate and hence electrical equipments are needed to fulfill those demands and that is why more and more companies are establishing there manufacturing plants in India and hence demand for electrical engineers is increasing day by day.

Hello Aayush,
Oh no! I don't think so. Electrical engineering is one of the original branches of engineering and it still has its uses in day to day life even today. Even though many branches have come out of this stream and have taken a new role for themselves but electrical engineering is still holding its own against this onslaught. I, therefore, feel that electrical engineering will continue to remain important in future also.

In electrical engineering, you will study about the electricity generation and the equipment used in that like motors, wires, generators, etc., but in the electronics engineering, you will study about the manufacturing of the electronics products like TV, fridge, etc.

In electrical engineering, you will study about the electricity generation and the equipment used in that like motors, wires, generators, etc., but in the electronics and communication engineering you will study about the manufacturing of the electronics products that are used for communication like telephones, optical fibres, mobiles and many other things.
