It's good to know your dreams of doing graduation in engineering. Every state has its own equivalence and it's published by concerned DTE of Tech Edu of the state. But I feel that what you are seeking is allowed. But please ensure that you score handsomely in your diploma exam.

Hello Roshan,
I feel that it's best to avoid this route. 50% of fresh graduates passing out of college are remaining jobless. I would advise you to think of doing graduation via distance mode in some other subject.

Hello Roshan,
In view of the recent decision of the Supreme Court of India, it's better to avoid doing engineering graduation via distance education mode. You better think of different field like commerce, finance, fine arts, BCA, microbiology, etc.

You have to attend a course conducted by SASTRA University during the summer holidays after the completion of polytechnic exams. The duration of the course would be 30 days. At the end of the course a test will be conducted. The marks in the test and your attendance during the course will be used to evaluate your candidature. Contact office for details about the course.

Diploma in engineering is a 3 years course and the candidates who are interested in pursuing diploma in engineering through distance mode must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
> Candidates should have completed 10th standard with minimum 55% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects from a recognized board.
> Candidates who have completed 12th standard in science stream (PCM) are also eligible.
> You should have work experience in any government or private sector construction companies.
