Hi,
Electronics and Communication Engineering is a very good Engineering, if you are having interest in Electronics than you should go for it. The subjects will be Basic Electronics, Digital Circuits, Microcontroller 8051 etc. Placement wise it is a good branch.

It is the difference between the two branches. Electronics and Communication (ECE) is more software oriented while EEE is a core subject dealing with machines. ECE has more job scope in the private sector while EEE has more scope in the government sector.
