Hello,
Every course has equal importance in the field of ECE as you know it is a very vast field (VLSI, ECE, Instrumentation, Chip designing, etc.). So, everyone opts for the course as per his/her taste as well as the command on any domain. Even if a person finds himself neutral or equally good in every aspect then the choice is plane Electronics & Communication.
Good luck.

If you are planning to study abroad, the admission process will require you to give one language exam and one standardized exam. However, depending on the country, course or college you are targeting, you may be exempt from standardized exams, but you would still be required to take one language exam to show English language proficiency. It's such an unpredictable thing to answer. It depends upon a candidate how he performs and his skills are important in each and every field and even after sometimes experience also matters, ISE or ECE, they have their own value and job opportunities. And everything depends upon the skills.
All the best.

If your college is good enough to provide you a better placement, then don't look for another course, because one year or two year experience is far better than your new course. If you don't get placed, then I will suggest that you must do M.Tech in VLSI domain, or whatever you want. I said M.Tech because moving from technical field to non-technical is easy, but you have worked for 4 years on same thing then why will you go for MBA or other courses. Don't be a path follower always be a path creator. So, choose whatever you want. Or else
For your career it will be better to do B.Tech or do apprentices in any government organization and t
