It's difficult to definitively say whether a rank of 1421 in KCET will guarantee you a seat in CS, IS, or EC at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Bangalore for the general category. This is because:
- KCET cutoff ranks change every year depending on the number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam, and the number of seats available in each college and program.
- MS Ramaiah is a reputed institute, and Computer Science, Information Science, and Electronics & Communication Engineering are popular programs. There might be limited seats available for these courses.

Yes, you can get ECE at LNMIIT at 95 Percentile. You have also the chance to get even better branches in counselling. But I suggest you to do counselling of JAC Delhi and Chandigarh in which you will get some very good Govt Colleges.

The actual major branches offered at JIIT are CSE and IT. If you are interested in developers' profiles and want a good package, go for CSE or IT. The placements have been very nice for the CSE students but ECE placements are only just satisfactory since there are very few core companies visiting the campus. The average package of the college is around 7-8 LPA.
