Now let's dig the question little deep. If BE and B.Tech or ME and M.Tech have same value and scope why the names are different.
Now as AICTE approve courses most of the courses are same and identical for BE and B.Tech. The universities those offering BE when started new courses named them to B.Tech too.

Below is the list of engineering colleges/universities that offer admissions to M.tech courses without gate score. Such universities/colleges conduct there own test or interview for admission to M.tech courses.

Banasthali University
TS PGECET 2015
UPES Dehradun
Tamil Nadu common entrance test 2015
GGSIPU M.tech Admission

If you hv any desire for higher study later abroad then go for a job first as in India, you may do your master's immediately after grad. Some experience will give you more clarity on whether you would like to go on the path of research or management with which you can decide to go for m.tech or mba.
