Hello,IGNOU is definitely one of the best open universities in India. It offers a wide array of courses to choose from for anyone with different educational backgrounds. However, doing post graduation in a professional course is problematic to say the least. This needs to be approved by UGC and AICTE as well. I would strongly advise against doing any professional course in postal correspondence or online method. You should check whether the place where you are staying is there a college which offers this course over the weekend or via evening classes. Professional courses need lot of practical exposure and hence such courses are invariably not available through online or postal correspondence method. If some institution is offering this course then please check whether this particular course has the sanction of UGC as well as a I c t e. Best wishes to you.

Hello Sakthivel, It's Indeed nice to know that you have completed your Diploma in electronics and communication and now you are interested in doing your graduation in engineering. I would strongly recommend that you should not go for distance education for this. This is so sense professional courses were debarred to be offered via distance education method. However there is one of the rise method available for you to obtain this qualification. Please going for AMIE certification. This is equivalent to graduation for all practical purposes and also for announcement in job and also for getting admission for postgraduate studies in engineering. Best wishes to you.

Hello Nalini, It's Indeed very nice to SEE that you are interested in doing part time M.Tech in Bangalore. Unfortunately readymade information is not available online. This may be so because part time M.Tech unlike a full time, depends on host of issues like availability of the faculty the number of students who are interested in part time classes their willingness to pay the prescribed fees etc. I am afraid, you need to approach this colleges individually to find out whether they are offering part time M.Tech.
