A sound mixer is RJ or DJ, they just mixes two or more sounds and fuses them seamlessly and suitable for presentation. A mixing engineer is a person who works with the sound engineer and handles the different sounds. For example: if the drums, guitars, bass, flutes, vocals of a song do not sound all clear and are not at the audible level, where some parts can’t be heard and some are too loud and distorted, then then mixing engineer did a terrible job.
A sound engineer can record, manipulate entirely and even create new sounds of needed. He can adjust the dynamics and quality and of course, he mixes too, he/she provides the mixing
