According to my knowledge, both engineering and architecture have a good scope in India. But engineering has more opportunities in countries like India because there are many sub-branches in it. Engineering students in India are increasing year after year, but the lower number of architecture students is actually a benefit. Choosing a branch or course depends on your interest or passion, so I recommend choosing according to your interest. Architect salary in India ranges between INR 3.0 LPA to INR 40.0 LPA with an average annual salary of INR 19.1 LPA. Electronics and communication (ECE) is more software oriented while EEE is a core subject dealing with machines.
