In 2016, several engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu had a cut-off of 175.25 for admissions. However, specific information regarding concession availability for this particular cut-off is not readily available. It’s important to note that admission cut-offs and concessions can vary from year to year and are subject to change based on various factors such as the number of applicants, the college’s policies, and government regulations.

It’s recommended to directly contact the respective colleges or refer to official admission brochures and websites for the most accurate and up-to-date information on admission cut-offs and

In 2016, the College of Engineering, Pune (COEP) had varying cut-off marks for different courses and categories. The cut-off marks are determined based on factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the entrance exam, and the availability of seats. It’s important to note that cut-off marks can differ from year to year.

For example, in 2016, the cut-off for Computer Engineering at COEP for general category students was around 185-190 marks in the MHT-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test). Similarly, for Mechanical Engineering, the cut-off was approximately 175-180 marks. These figures are approximate and may

Hello Rohini, I am afraid the college predictor available for predicting the branch and the college that one can get is based on the MHT CET results and is applicable for fresh admissions in the first year of engineering. The predictor for Diploma holders who are in line to seek admission directly into the second year of four year degree course in different engineering colleges across the state is not available. But going by the percentage that you have mentioned at about 68 and above I am sure you will get admission in reasonably good college. Best wishes to you.

Hello Joseph, with this cutoff score, it is difficult to get irrigation engineering at CEG campus of Anna University. But you may try your luck at the counselling since the cutoff is based on the caste like BC, SC, ST etc.
All the best!

Hello Abhijeet, Cutoffs in IIT or NIT are indeed dynamic. It all depends on the toughness if the question paper set for JEE Mains / JEE Advanced. It also depends on the perception of students about a particular branch. In some years mechanical branch is at top while in some other, electrical branch is at top. I will say that you should aim for scoring 70 percentile and above if you want to get confirmed admission in mechanical branch. Best wishes.

Hello Aarathi,
This college establishment in 1951 is affiliated to Anna University. As a result all admissions are now based on marks obtained in 12th exam. In addition the college has very high reputation and students prefer this to many other colleges. Due to this cutoffs is very high. But marks scored by students in class 12th show very wide variation and hence I am afraid it is not feasible to quite any figure. However, I will definitely say that you should aim for 80 and above percentile. Best wishes to you.
