The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at UPES School of Advanced Engineering are:
- Minimum 50% marks in Class 10 and 12 board exams.
- Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in Class 12.
- Applicants must qualify for UPESEAT (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test) or JEE Main/SAT/CUET.
UPESEAT is the university's own entrance exam, while JEE Main, SAT, and CUET are national-level exams. For the non-exam category, 10% of seats are filled based on JEE Main ranks and 10% based on board merit.

The following are the essential eligibility requirements for pursuing a Computer Science Engineering course at the undergraduate and graduate levels at BTech CSE colleges in India:
