Engineering Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the BTech courses may differ from college to college. However, the basic eligibility criteria for BTech admission in best engineering colleges in Trichy are as follows:

• Candidates must have earned a passing grade in Physics,  Chemistry, and Mathematics in the Class 12 exam with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognised board. 
• For admissions, candidates must take standard entrance exams like JEE Main, TNEA,  and other university-specific entrance exams in addition to their Class 12 results.

Admission to the MCA Course is facilitated through the Single Window System. To be eligible, candidates must have completed a Bachelor's Degree with core Mathematics at the class 12 level. Alternatively, they can have studied Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level. Additionally, candidates must have taken the TANCET Entrance Examination conducted by Anna University, Chennai. Students can select a college based on the rank calculated by their marks in the TANCET. Reservations are provided for BC/MBC/DNC/SC/ST categories, as per the rules of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

The eligibility criteria for the M.Tech programme at MIT Academy of Engineering include having a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology as specified in the admission requirements. Singapore Polytechnic provides a three-year Diploma program in Computer Engineering with 1st year tuition fee of INR 16.68 L. The eligibility criteria for doing a Diploma in Computer Science at Singapore Polytechnic are given below:

• Minimum 70% in 12th standard.
• SAT score
• TOEFL, IELTS score

The general eligilibity criteria for admission to an M.Tech course at Model Engineering College Thrikkakara Kochi may vary depending on the specific program. However typically candidates should have a

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised university.
• Minimum qualifying marks in the Bachelor's degree often around 50-60%
• Valid GATE ( Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering) score, as it is commonly used for admission at M.Tech courses in India.

• Candidates must have Class 12 with 45-60% aggregate marks
• Candidates must complete Class 12 with PCM subjects
• Must clear an entrance exams like JEE Main, CUET, etc.

To apply for the M.Tech course at Institute of Technical Education and Research admission, the candidate needs to meet the last educational qualification. Aspirants should pass BTech or equivalent in the relevant field. Obtained at least 60% marks (50% in case of candidate belongs to reserved category) in the qualifying Examination or MSc in Computer Science / IT.
