Yes, candidates must appear for JEE Mains to qualify for Poornima Institute of Engineering and Technology BTech course. The institute folllows REAP guidelines to select candidates for BTech admissions. Only if some seats are left vacant after admission process can candidates be chosen without JEE Mains.

ABV IIITM admissions are entrance-based and getting a seat in the institute requires students to get high scores in the exams. The JEE cutoff for BTech CSE usually is 99 percentile. However, students from SC/ ST categories or those applying for the integrated courses may have better chances with this score.

No, VIT Vellore BTech admission is not decided through JEE Mains scores. Candidates who wish to apply for BTech must appear in VITEEE only in order to qualify for VIT Vellore admission. No other entrance exams have been mentioned as alternatives to VITEEE.

Candidates had to reach the exam centre at least two hours before the VITMEE test time. No late entry was accepted.

Yes, you should consider top NIT/IIIT colleges if you're hitting 90–95 percentile. 90 percentile means your AIR is about 90,000 to 1,10,000. At this level, it is very hard for the General category to get high-demand branches like CSE or ECE in top NIT/IIITs. You may only get newer NITs like NIT Puducherry, NIT Manipur, and NIT Goa for branches like Electronics, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering. In this case, you're better off considering top private colleges, BITS Pilani and VIT Vellore lead with placements above INR 18 LPA, and some students are getting over INR 1 crore or so international offers, so they're good options.
