Looks near impossible for NIT !
But if you can do well in LPU NEST you might be able to get into good branches at LPU. Being ranked among to 100 institutions by NIF and top 25 by ATAL (MHRD) rankings, LPU is fast turning to be first choice of students after IITs !
The best part is: the last date for LPUNST and admission is still there and scholarships also available on various criterion till september 20th. Hope this helps

Hello Shamili, a very good query indeed. National testing agency will announce cut off of the ranks and perhaps the percentile for appearing in JEE Advanced. This information they will be giving to each and every student who has appeared for JEE Mains. These cutoffs vary depending on the category of the students and the agency will give you complete details of this information. So do not worry and have patience for few days before you come to know about this. In addition once the results are announced, even the newspapers will declare this in their columns. Best wishes to you.

Of course actual cutoffs will be announced by the national testing agency in a few days from now and then only everyone will come to know certainly the different cutoffs that are announced for different categories of students. Hello Shubham,. Yes it's definitely possible to get admission in an engineering College without giving not only JEE Mains exam but without giving any exam whatsoever. The state of Tamil Nadu gives admissions based on the marks obtained in 12th examination, many private deemed to be universities give admission the merit holders of the different boards, without conducting any exam whatsoever. Many states in India have their own entrance test for admission to the engineering colleges in their states that is without JEE Mains. Best wishes to you.
