SRM Valliammai Engineering College is an autonomous engineering institution located in Kattankulathur, Tamil Nadu. It was established on 9 September 1999. The college functions from a ten–storey building complex of 29,000 square metres to accommodate the demands of students. The Valliammai Engineering College is a part of the SRM Group of Educational Institutions, sponsored by the Valliammai Society. The Institution is certified with ISO 9001:2015 from TUV Rheinland. The college is very strict at punctuality and attendance percentage

SRM Valliammai Engineering College Placements

SRM VEC meticulous placement cell is responsible for imparting soft skills and foreign language training to graduating students to prepare them for placements in esteemed companies. The college ensured a 90% placement record in its SRM VEC Placement 2020 session.

 The key highlights of the SRM VEC Placement 2020 are as follows:

1.A total of 449 students were placed at reputed companies around the country.

2.The Computer Science and Engineering department witnessed the highest number of placements. 

3.Candidates received successful placement across 17 national and multinational corporations. 

 The 2020 campus recruitment session witnessed drastically higher placements than the year before.
