Even though Pune and Bangalore are highly developed cities. Bangalore is the best city to do Computer Science engineering. Bangalore is a known IT Hub. Students who have completed CSE will get placed in famous IT companies with a good salary package.

Hello Gauri Prayag, let me first apprise you about the admission process in Maharashtra for engineering colleges. All admissions including to COEP, are based on ranking in MHTCET. This exam is yet to be conducted. Hence there is nothing like the latest cutoff. Since cutoff or closing ranks available are of last year and they can not change midway. Ok? Having said this, it must be said that this institution ranks very high in minds of students and as a result, admissions close at a very high percentile. COEP is the premier engineering college in the state of Maharashtra. As a result of this, the admissions close at relatively very high closing ranks. Hello Anthara Nanaware, I can appreciate your angst and anxiety. COEP ranks in the top five engineering colleges in the state of Maharashtra. However, there is no mention of any cutoff for admission to this college. Please try to understand. Admissions are not processed by the college. This job is done by the CET cell of govt of Maharashtra after the declaration of results of MHTCET. Students are to register with them and give preference for admission.
