Yes, you can, but for that, you have to be good in coding and crack the world level coding test and then you can easily get a job from ECE branch also.

See, if you want to get placed in these companies then you have to get better at coding and crack the coding tests and then you can easily get placed in these companies no matter in which college you are.

A student gets 3 chances for appearing in JEE Mains and of course in getting admission in one of the NIT from the passing year of 12th. So, by this logic, you are still eligible to get admission, but yes you have asked a very pertinent question. Here I would like to advise you that in the previous year almost 50% fresh engineering graduates were jobless. This does not mean that graduates from NIT were jobless. But this is an overall figure. Nope, these things doesn't happen in real it's a dilemma in many of us. Get out of it, and try to get best out of your engineering degree, job is a secondary thing.

I'll prefer you to opt for the UPSEE as in this, colleges are in quantity as well as in quality but in WBJEE, there are only some colleges and in that, only few are quality. Others are just average.

JSS is better than the MSIT as this college as in every term whether it is placements, faculty or infra JSS wins over all the terms from MSIT.

Based on my knowledge software engineering is at great demand in comparison to mechanical. One of my friend has done software engineering from IGDTUW, Delhi. They have good placements of course and you can work abroad also. Choose what interests you the most.

Yes MIT and thaper university is offering better placements They are one of the prestigious colleges. I have heard that the faculty is very good there. All the best.You should go for those colleges.
