You can not get admission on the basis of your 12th scores. You also need to pass the joint entrance exam after which you may get a chance.

The best engineering course as of now is CSE or IT. These fields are evergreen and have great scope. Computer and IT engineers are required in every field. You can also go for ICT engineering which is also a good option.

Hello Pooja,
You may refer to the link below for the list of top engineering colleges in India:
https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/ranking/top-engineering-colleges-in-india/44-2-0-0-0
1) IITs would be among the top colleges for engineering. The admission is based on your ranks in JEE Mains and Advanced exams. After that, you may find some NITs, which also use JEE main (alone) for admission.
2) For private institutes like BITS-Pilani, VIT, Manipal University, SRM University, etc., you need to appear for the respective exams like BITSAT, VITEEE, MOUET and SRM JEE.

Hello Srinivasa,
Your query is okay. But unfortunately, you will have to seek admission in only your state since other states do not allow students of other states to get admission. Of course, there will be NITs & IITs in your state where you can take admission.
