It's depends in the state in which you are but from this rank to get NITs it's not possible you have to depends on states government colleges and many states have their best colleges government or non government. These colleges may or may not be good as NITs or IIITs but somewhere they are in competition with them.

I would like to urge you to take break of one year and prepare exclusively for JEE Mains examination. Yes, Chandigarh University has NAAC A+ university. University also ranked 2nd in QS ranking in all among private universities in India. Chandigarh University is good for engineering.
