Teaching pedagogy: Your college must have experiential learning practices. More the practical, better it is. Infrastructure: To support the practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum. Internships: For learning hands in real-time situations. Professional enhancement: The college must focus on personality development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, work ethics, etc. Technologies: The curriculum must include training on cutting-edge technologies like SAP, GitHub, etc. Student diversity: When the class comprises diverse nationalities, students learn working in corporate, teamwork, and cross-cultural sensibilities. Faculty: High caliber and research-oriented. Industry interface: There must be regular industry interactions, seminars, conferences, visits, and mentorship programs. Entrepreneurship projects: The universities need to have design thinking, innovation. Placements: After all, it boils down to placements; the university must attract many companies for recruitment and offer good salaries. LPU has excellent placement stats that range from 5-42 LPA. Dear Dipankar, Mechanical engineering and civil engineering are the two the oldest and most frequently used areas of engineering. Civil engineering is primarily about the construction, planning, and maintenance of buildings, infrastructures, and buildings. Mechanical engineering, on the other hand, is in the simplest terms the technical current that deals with the mechanics of automobiles and other machines. Both areas of engineering are evergreen and offer students excellent career prospects. These fields are used in all areas of life and in all parts of the world. I have many friends who have done B.Tech in Civil and Mechanical at LPU and well settled in their life, Placement at LPU for ME and Civil: Every year more than 550+ companies visit LPU for placements. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. The maximum package available for the ME and Civil programme is 31 LPA and the average package is 4.8 LPA and 4.2 LPA respectively. Dear Shubham, I can't say about any college for an engineering programme in Delhi and NCR but being alumni of LPU, I can say that LPU is the best private university in North India for an engineering programme. LPU offers B.Tech in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself. The maximum package available for the Engineering programme is 42 lacs. Per annum. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything.
