1. By DRDO exams. These are generally conducted around march-June and is very competitive. Check the official website for the notification also leading newspapers notify the advertising so look for them.
2. By GATE exam. It depends on DRDO. This year they are recruiting through GATE 2016. You may not know and also DRDO exam and GATE almost follow the same pattern/syllabus. This being said they are the ones to decide which department you get. (This is because our budget is very limited in the DRDO and much less in IOF)
3. In Dec they conducted exams specifically for Indian
