Do complete you 12th with good marks then attempt for IIT entrance exam where you can get a branch of aerospace or you can give the entrance exam for IIST to get into ISRO. Yes, TANCET is conducted for admission to various master programs including MBA, MCA M.Tech, M.Arch and M.Plan. All students can apply for it as long as they have a qualifying degree, you can take part in the counselling. Good luck.

In India, R&D is always on the lower side. And hence, we almost never see anything great happening in the field of electronics (or for that matter, Technology). And hence most of the electronics graduates waste their time doing something else. If you seriously want to do something worth, please look beyond India. And, as soon as you finish your B.Tech, get into MS + Ph.D. courses. And, chances are very high that you will end up doing something meaningful in electronics.

below are the department and their role. Reliability department- its function is doing RCA, FMEA, IRRR, insuring mechanical availability of rotary equipment for trouble free operations of refinery. There's one thing I can absolutely say about mechanical engineering after practicing for almost 10 years now and getting licensed as a PE. It's needed now more than ever, and especially those that can build and work with their hands. It's true everything has a computer on it these days, but it really is becoming a lost art to understand how to take ideas and turn them into real objects that solve problems and that's exactly what MS can do.
