You can easily get lateral entry admission to BTech Chemical Engineering course after completing a 3 year Diploma after Class 10 or a 2 year Diploma after Class 12 with at least 50 to 60% marks. lateral entry provision enables students to directly enter 2nd year of BTech Chemical Engineering programme and complete their undergraduate course in 3 years instead of usual 4 years. A few colleges where you can get lateral entry admission to BTech in Chemical Engineering are LPU, Institute of Engineering and Technology (Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University), and Chandigarh University.
