Candidates who have passed BE/ BTech or equivalent degree in relevant subjects are eligible to apply for KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering M.Tech programme. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Besides, aspirants must also have a valid GATE, OJEE or KIITEE scores for M.Tech admission.

KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering offers a two-year full-time M.Tech programme divided into four semesters. The course is offered at the PG level. The school offers M.Tech in below specialisations:

The total fee for KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering is INR 14 lakh. Candidates need to pay the course fee at the time of admission and then semester-wise during the programme. Yes, it is difficult to get a seat in Utkal University M.Tech as their is only one round of selections for very few seats. Utkal University M.Tech admissions take place through the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE). If a candidate has a valid OJEE score they are eligible to apply for admission in the M.Tech programme.

The OJEE exam is not as tough as other national-level entrance exams in the country, but since the university only offers 40 seats in the programme the competition is way higher than other exams. Thus, it is difficult to get into Utkal University MTech.

Candidates who have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 60% aggregate are eligible to apply for the KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering BTech programme. Aspirants should have studied in regular full time formal education in their schooling/college. Besides, candidates must be born on or after July 1, 2001.

KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering offers a four-year full-time BTech programme. The course is divided into eight semesters and is available in various specialisations. Below are some of the BTech specialisations available at KSOME:

Utkal University offers 40 M.Tech seats at the university. As the university offers only M.Tech in Information Technology, candidates will only be able to get seats in that specialisation. Due to the seats being less, the competition to get into Utkal University M.Tech is quite high. Therefore, candidates should prepare accordingly for the entrance exam and subsequent admission formalities.

Under the Pradyumna Bal Memorial Scholarship at KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering, two poor and meritorious students are provided completely free education under this scholarship scheme. The scholarship comprises college fees, hostel fees including mess, books and any other ancillary expenses.

No, Candidates cannot get direct admission into Utkal University M.Tech as admissions into the programme take place through the merit secured in the OJEE entrance exam. Candidates applying for admission into the programme will have to first appear for OJEE and secure a valid score there. Therefore, aspirants have to clear an entrance exam to apply for admission the programme and can't be admitted directly.
