Candidates hailing from CBSE/ISC/Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) must have minimum ? 70% marks in PCM and at least 50% marks in every subject Candidates from IB curriculum must have the aggregate score of 26 with a minimum 4 in every course.
The cut-off marks for Computer Engineering range between 180 and 200, depending on the university. However, scoring higher than the minimum cut-off will improve your chances of admission, especially in competitive universities like the University of Benin, University of Lagos, and Obafemi Awolowo University.

HSEE provides an alternative route to enter IITs without needing to take JEE, specifically for Humanities and Social Sciences fields. The exam tests verbal ability, quantitative ability, reading comprehension, general awareness and analytical skills.
You can get into IIT without taking the JEE exam by appearing in the CAT exam. It is a national-level entrance exam, a computer-based entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) for admission into postgraduate management courses i.e. MBA.

If, as an OBC candidate, you do not provide your income certificate at the UPTU (UPCET) counseling, you might not be eligible for reservation benefits. Proof that your family's yearly income is within the OBC category's stated limit requires an income certificate. If you want to take advantage of the reservation and other incentives, you must submit the necessary paperwork before the deadline. Call the counseling office if you need more advice.

Securing a place in SASTRA University may pose some challenges with a 64 percentile in JEE Mains and 77% in your CBSE board exams. Admission is usually very high on JEE Mains score for direct admissions due to the specific standard set by the university, but it may be possible to gain admission through the CBSE board for direct counseling. The eligibility in this case will depend on the cutoffs which change for each academic year. So, it is better to either check out its official admission site or contact them for directed advice.

GNDU cutoff 2024 for B.Tech courses is 55% marks in the qualifying exam (12th class).And GNDU considers the All India Rank (AIR) obtained in the JEE Main exam for admissions. Although proper data is not availabel but previous trends suggest that candidates with a JEE Main percentile around 83.7, approximate rank between 120,612 and 165,679, have had a good chance of securing admission in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch at GNDU.
